Reconstitution Solution is a sterile, non-pyrogenic preparation of water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol (9 mg/mL) as a bacteriostatic preservative. The benzyl alcohol prevents bacterial growth in the vial after the initial puncture, allowing the same vial to be used over multiple withdrawals for up to 28 days when stored properly. Supplied here as a 10mL multi-use vial with a pH range of 4.5 to 7.0, it is the standard diluent referenced in published peptide research protocols for reconstituting lyophilized research peptides. Also commonly searched as bac water, BAC water, or benzyl alcohol water, it is provided as a USP-grade laboratory reagent.
