What is IGF-1 LR3?
IGF-1 LR3 (Long R3 Insulin-like Growth Factor-1) is a synthetic 83-amino-acid analog of human IGF-1 incorporating two structural modifications: a 13-amino-acid N-terminal extension derived from porcine growth hormone, and an arginine substitution at position 3. These modifications produce a molecular weight of approximately 9,111 Da and substantially reduce binding affinity to IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs) in research models. First characterized in published research literature in the late 1980s, IGF-1 LR3 is studied in cellular growth, signaling, and proliferation research models. Also referenced as Long R3 IGF-1, LR3 IGF, or IGF-1 LR3 1mg, it is supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory reference use. Triumphant Labs IGF-1 LR3 is provided strictly for in vitro research applications and is not approved for human or animal use.

*Research chemicals are chemical substances used by scientists for medical and scientific research purposes. One characteristic of a research chemical is that it is for laboratory research use only; a research chemical is not intended for human or veterinary use. This distinction is required on the labels of research chemicals, and is what exempts them from regulation under parts 100-740 in Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations (21CFR).
