SS-31 For Sale
What is SS-31?
SS-31 (Elamipretide, also referenced as Bendavia or MTP-131) is a synthetic 4-amino-acid peptide with cell-permeable, mitochondria-targeting properties due to its alternating aromatic/cationic residue structure. Its sequence is D-Arg-2′,6′-dimethyltyrosine-Lys-Phe-NH2 with a molecular weight of approximately 639.8 Da. First described in published mitochondrial research literature in the early 2000s, SS-31 is studied in research models that investigate cardiolipin binding on the inner mitochondrial membrane, electron transport chain efficiency, and mitochondrial reactive oxygen species pathways. Also referenced as Elamipretide, MTP-131, Bendavia, or SS-31 10mg, it is supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory reference use. Triumphant Labs SS-31 is provided strictly for in vitro research applications and is not approved for human or animal use.

*Research chemicals are chemical substances used by scientists for medical and scientific research purposes. One characteristic of a research chemical is that it is for laboratory research use only; a research chemical is not intended for human or veterinary use. This distinction is required on the labels of research chemicals, and is what exempts them from regulation under parts 100-740 in Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations (21CFR).
