What is TB-500?
TB-500 is a synthetic 17-amino-acid peptide corresponding to amino acids 17 through 23 of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), specifically the active actin-binding region of the parent protein. Its sequence is Ac-Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln-Glu-Lys-Asn-Pro-Leu-Pro-Ser-Lys-Glu-Thr-OH with a molecular weight of approximately 1,890 Da. First synthesized for research applications in the early 2000s, TB-500 is studied in research models that investigate G-actin sequestration, cellular migration pathways, and tissue research applications. Also referenced as Thymosin Beta-4 fragment, Tβ4 17-23, or TB-500 10mg, it is supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory reference use. Triumphant Labs TB-500 is provided strictly for in vitro research applications and is not approved for human or animal use.
